# Job Description Translation **Work Environment** Cultivation of other vegetables and melons (except potatoes) Wet or humid Odours Dusty Hot Cold/refrigerated Varied weather conditions Dirty **Responsibilities** Tasks Apply hoeing technique between rows Clean crops Clear brush and collect brush and debris in fields, enclosures and other work areas Clear fields of wood and stones Cut agricultural crops Divide harvested fresh produce into marketable and non-marketable lots Sort vegetables and fruits by size, shape, colour and volume to obtain high market prices Greenhouse cleaning Manual harvesting of vegetables Harvest seedlings Pack fruits and vegetables Harvest row crops and orchard fruits Sow, cultivate and irrigate agricultural products Sort fruits and vegetables Weeding Write daily progress reports Clean work area Harvest agricultural products Load, unload and transport crates, supplies, agricultural products, livestock and poultry Operate and maintain agricultural equipment and machinery Examine product quality and fitness for sale **Additional Information** Transportation and Travel Information Possesses own means of transportation Public transportation not available **Working Conditions and Physical Capacities** Environment where activities take place at a fast pace Repetitive tasks Physically demanding Eye-hand coordination Colour distinction Attention to detail Standing for long periods Bending, squatting, kneeling Sedentary work Sitting, standing and walking Walking
