Work Environment At heights Dusty Noisy Commercial workplace Industrial Remote location Home-based Responsibilities Tasks Read plans, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements Apply smooth and uniform coats of plaster Clean and prepare surfaces Treat freshly plastered surfaces Fabricate and install metal frames and panels to form suspended ceilings and install panels to form soundproof ceilings and coffered ceilings Fill joints, nail heads, holes and cracks with joint filling products using trowels or wide-bladed knives Apply tape to joints using taping machines and coat the tape with filling product Prepare wall and ceiling configuration Work at heights or on scaffolding
